Flick in the Sticks  Rumba (PG)

               Fiona and Dom are teachers at a rural school. They share a passion for Latin dance and they’re deeply in love. On weekends, they enter dance competitions around the country. Their house is crammed with trophies. One night, as they are coming back from a competition, they encounter a man on a clumsy suicide mission, standing in the middle of the road. They swerve to avoid him, crash into a wall and their life is thrown into turmoil…

Flick in the Sticks  The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus (12A)

           The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day. It tells the story of Dr Parnassus and his extraordinary 'Imaginarium', a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.

Directed by Terry Gilliam “Fine performances to match all the visual spectacle.

Lost Property
Please note that all lost property left in the village hall, unclaimed
for 30 days will be donated to charity.
We have a coat with hood and a pair of gloves still in the hall which have been unclaimed for four months. If you know anyone who has been
missing a work coat please contact a member of the committee.

 

 

The Redlake Valley Village Hall, Chapel Lawn

provides a meeting place for the whole of the community around Chapel Lawn. The Hall can accommodate up to 120 people depending on the type of function and hosts regular meetings of:

  • The Women's Institute on the second Wednesday of each month   Contact Beryl Palmer 01547 530106

  • Offas Dyke Astronomical Society (ODAS) meets on the last Thursday of each month in Chapel Lawn Village Hall at   7.30pm for talks, lectures and observational sessions.  Contact Graham Arnold 01547 530205 Visitors are always warmly welcomed Latest Information here

  • Flicks in the Sticks, sponsored by Arts Alive, is shown in the Village Hall roughly once per month. This full size cinema showing features modern films in a village environment.
