The Squire Farm is an isolated smallholding in the secluded, peaceful surroundings of Redlake Valley in the southwest corner of Shropshire. The farm consists of the farmhouse, barns and the two holiday cottages surrounded by twenty-five acres of woodland and pasture grazed by sheep and horses. There are also chickens, dogs and cats and maybe cows one day. A stream below the buildings meanders through some ancient woodland and the River Redlake runs along the northern boundary. The approach is by a private farm track, which ensures complete peace, privacy and safety.

The Squire Farm is about half a mile from the hamlet of Chapel Lawn where there is a village hall and a chapel.  Bucknell (3 miles) and Clun (5 miles) have shops, post offices, a choice of pubs and there is a railway station at Bucknell. The nearest town of Knighton, (6 miles) is an appealing welsh market town and can supply most of one’s needs.  The very attractive town of Ludlow is about 15 miles east where you will find some highly acclaimed restaurants. For walkers, riders and cyclists, there are plenty of footpaths and bridleways including Offa’s Dyke and a mountain biking trail within 3 miles and for those interested in archaeology, Squire Farm sits at the bottom of Caer Caradoc, an ancient hill fort. It is impracticable to mention all the possibilities for entertainment on this page, but if you are looking for an active nightlife of clubs, cinemas and theatres, Hereford or Shrewsbury are only 30 miles away.

Tariff for 2008.  Prices the same as last year.
